In the covered Victorian Leadenhall Market, a shopping area since the Roman era, is the OSTERIA DEL MERCATO.

Welcoming, simple and elegant, the menu OF THE OSTERIA DEL MERCATO isinspired by the scents and flavours of Italy without neglecting the best traditions of the local area.

The kitchen, which is entrusted to the care and professionalism of the chef Antimo, is skilled from pasta to desserts.

The restaurant it is always looking for the best quality local products in the best traditions of Italian cooking.And that is why our menu is always so varied and full of novelty, because it changes with fresh seasonal ingredients and the imagination of the chef.

Our vision...

The restaurant was born when 3 young italian friends - Federica, Fabrizio and Francesca, sat around a table with a beer and talked about their passion for food and how to create something truly special.

They shared a desire to express this passion and their creativity. Each of them has different origins and talent but their shared vision created the restaurant using the style, warmth and 'colours' as well as the inimitable local Vietri ceramics of their home region combined with photographs of famous Italian markets.

A path through the Italian regions to understand the Italian tradition of food and wine. Following the success of our Sicilian Wine Tasting last September, we have arranged an evening with different Menu and wines from the Campania region. A producer from the Campania region will be on hand to explain juxtaposition of wine and food.
